Ring of Twent(h)e, a group of Mennonite congregations in the Dutch district of [[Twente (Overijssel, Netherlands)|Twente]], founded 27 July 1856. Like other Rings its purpose was to establish closer contact between the four independent congregations in this area - [[Almelo (Overijssel, Netherlands)|Almelo]], [[Borne  (Overijssel, Netherlands)|Borne]], Enschedé, and Hengelo - and to organize mutual aid in case of vacant pulpits. The history of Ring Twente is found in an address by S.
