The Vaughan preaching appointment near Maple, Ontario began services in 1962. The congregation originated through the outreach of the Markham-Waterloo Mennonite Conference to families in the Vaughn area.

The services were located at the home of Alvin Baker, who also served as the congregational leader. The congregation dissolved in 1964. The language of worship was English.
