Vorsterman, a former Mennonite family at [[Amsterdam (Noord-Holland, Netherlands)|Amsterdam]], Holland, from ca. 1620 until the 18th century, when it died out. A well-known member of this family was Jacob Vorsterman, d.1729, who was very active as a trustee and secretary and treasurer of the [[Fonds voor Buitenlandsche Nooden (Dutch Relief Fund for Foreign Needs) |Dutch Mennonite Committee for Foreign Needs]].
