Mertain Weischenfelder and Veit, Anabaptists of Uetzing, Upper Franconia, Germany, were baptized by Hans Hut in October 1526. Their three cross-examinations, 16-18 March 1527, are of importance to the history of the Anabaptists of Franconia and the work of Hans Hut. Mertain testified that Hut never preached revolutionary doctrine.
