Wellington County (Ontario, Canada)

Wellington County, Ontario, borders Waterloo County on the east and on the north. In Puslinch Township reside a few families of the Wanner Mennonite Church. Puslinch Center was a Mennonite outpost (Mennonite Church) in the mid-1800s. There are some families of the Bethel (Elora) Mennonite Church and of the Old Order Mennonite Church of West Montrose, an active Mennonite (Mennonite Church) congregation at Glen Allan, and an Old Order Mennonite congregation at Goshen. A Mennonite Church congregation in Maryborough Township died out. Other Mennonite Church congregations with meetinghouses are located at Moorefield and at Berea (Bosworth Corners) west of Parker and 7 miles west of Alma. Guelph is the principal urban center of Wellington County.
