Jörg Zeller was very likely won for Anabaptism by Ludwig Haetzer. In his home in Ost-Krautheim, Bavaria, Zeller himself baptized several persons in 1527, one of them being Jörg Dorsch. Dorsch later confessed that Zeller had said to him that no one could be saved without baptism, for Christ had said to His apostles: "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized shall be saved." Upon this presentation they had knelt down and Zeller had baptized them and had said: "In the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, arise from sins and sin no more; do penance." His brother Andres Dorsch and his wife, as well as Turbe Schnabel, had been baptized by Jörg von Passau (see Nespitzer).
