Zoar Krimmer Mennonite Brethren Church of Inman, KS, was organized in 1879. Mr. and Mrs. Gerhard Kornelson, who had been baptized two years earlier, were instrumental in organizing a group of 24 members. Jacob Klassen (d.1918) was their first leader, and later elder. Others who have served as elders or leaders of the church are John Esau, K. K. Willems, D. C. Pauls, and A. L. Friesen. The first meeting place was a sod schoolhouse. In 1883 a church was built 5 miles southwest of Inman. The present building was built in 1901. In 1957 the church had 209 members, with Arnold Ensz as pastor.
