East Abbotsford Community Church began in the summer of 2003 when a group of families from [[Eben-Ezer Mennonite Church (Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada)|Eben-Ezer Mennonite Church]], led by associate pastor David Hobson, left the church to form a new congregation.
