Aktatch (Republic of Dagestan, Russia)

Aktatch was a strip of land in the northern part of the Terek Mennonite colony, which was founded in 1901 near the Caspian Sea in Russia. It was intended for colonization, but since the land was unsuitable for agriculture, the plan was abandoned.
