Bergthold family

Bergthold, a Palatine Mennonite family name, transplanted to West Prussia by Jakob Bergthold, who moved there from Galicia in 1799. Descendants also immigrated to Russia and America. Twenty persons of this name were living in West Prussia in 1935.
