Besluyt der Voornaemste Waterlandsche Leeraren tot Amsterdam, vergadert in den Jare 1626 (Confession of the most prominent Waterlander preachers assembled at Amsterdam 1626). This short confession of 13 articles, signed by 12 church leaders, including Rippert Eenkes, Hans Alenson, and Hans de Ries, was composed during the conflict of the church in Amsterdam with Nittert Obbes, one of the preachers, who leaned toward Socinianism. It is to be considered as a supplement of the Waterlander Confession of 1610 (Korte Belijdenis). The Besluyt states that there are two kinds of the Word of God, the one being Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, from eternity to all eternity, through whom God the Father created all things; the other being the written Word of God, the Holy Scriptures; both are given to us to save us, but in the strict sense men can be saved only by the Eternal Word of God, which is Jesus Christ. The Besluyt was printed at Rotterdam in 1740, under the title: Korte Belijdenis der Waterlandsche Gemeenten, ten overstaan van Twaalf Leeraars te Amsterdam.
