The Bowling Green Mennonite Fellowship, Bowling Green, Ohio, USA, began in 1987 as a church plant out of a fellowship group that had met for several years. The effort included faculty and students at Bowling Green State University. Randy Horst provided some initial leadership. In 1989 the group hired David Andersen, an ordained Methodist minister doing graduate studies at the university, as its part-time pastor.
Because many members were moving away for job changes, the fellowship closed at the end of 1992. The group had been part of the Central District Conference of the General Conference Mennonite Church and the Ohio Mennonite Conference of the Mennonite Church (MC).
