View source for Geerken Vrancken (d. 1547)

Geerken Vrancken, a sister-in-law of the martyr [[Metken (d. 1547)|Metken]], was also an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr. She was probably drowned on 28 August 1547 at Echt, at that time belonging to the duchy of Gelder, now the Dutch province of [[Limburg (Netherlands)|Limburg]]. Particulars about her were not available.
