Immeli, Jakob (ca. 1495-1543)

Jakob Immeli (ca. 1495-1543), one of the assistants to Johannes Oecolampadius, the reformer of Basel, in the disputation of August 1525 with the Swiss Brethren. Immeli, who was dean of the arts faculty of the University of Basel in 1522, served as pastor of St. Ulrich's in Basel from May 1523 to February 1525, later at other points near Basel.
