Salomon Kohnert was a preacher in the Waterlander congregation of Lithuania (Memel-Niederung) in 1743-1800. Andreas Kohnert served as preacher at Schweinsgrube (congregation Stuhmsche Niederung) 1764-d. 1788; in the same congregation, then called Tragheimerweide, David Kohnert, of Klein Schardau, was a preacher in 1859- ca. 1890.
