Kootenay Valley Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in Creston, British Columbia began services and formally organized about 1994. The first building was occupied about 1994.

Minister Art Froese served in 2001 as a congregational leader.

The church also supports the Kootenay Valley Christian School.
