Maples Mennonite Brethren Church in Winnipeg, Manitoba began services in 1979, and formally organized in 1980. It was located at 109 Bannerman Avenue in Winnipeg. Arthur and Elsie Kliever are considered the founding leaders of the group. The congregation originated through outreach by the Mennonite Brethren Church of Manitoba.

The congregation formally merged with the Brooklands Community Church on 14 October 1990.

Pastor Gilbert Berg served in 1990 as a congregational leader. In 1985 there were 16 members; in 1990, 19. The language of worship was English.
