New Springvale Hutterite Colony (Beiseker, Alberta, Canada)

The New Springvale Hutterite Bruderhof near Beiseker, Alberta, was founded in 1935 by several families from the Springvale commune near Rocky Ford, Alberta, with their preacher Jakob Wurz, chosen to the ministry in 1913. Franz A. Wollmann was chosen preacher here. In 1947 the colony numbered 165, with 70 baptized members.
