North Side Mennonite Church (Hagerstown, Maryland, USA)
The North Side Mennonite Church, Hagerstown, Maryland, USA, has roots in a mission Sunday School established in 1927 by Adam Baer and others a few blocks south of the church's present location. In 1941 the Cedar Grove congregation of Greencastle, Pennsylvania became the sponsor of the work.
Harold A. Lehman began teaching in the Sunday School in 1943 and was ordained as a pastor on 19 November 1950 by O. N. Johns, a bishop in the Ohio and Eastern Mennonite Conference.
In 1948 the congregation purchased a small building that later became the church's lobby area. The congregation was formally organized in 1954. The congregation dedicated a new sanctuary in 1962.
The congregation suffered a division in 1976 when a portion of the congregation seeking more innovation and flexibility left to form what became the Hebron Mennonite Church.
In 2000 the congregation changed its affiliation from the Atlantic Coast Conference (a descendant of part of the Ohio and Eastern Conference) to the Franklin Mennonite Conference. In 2018 the Franklin Conference became a bishop district of LMC: a Fellowship of Anabaptist Churches.

North Side Mennonite Church (MC), located at 716 North Locust Street, Hagerstown, Maryland was established as a mission in 1931. It became an organized congregation in 1956, under the Ohio and Eastern Mennonite Conference. Its building was purchased in 1949 and remodeled to serve as a church. In 1959 the membership was 34, with Harold A. Lehman as pastor.
