Rockport Hutterite Colony near Magrath, Alberta, was a relocation of the Rockport Hutterite Colony (South Dakota) in 1918.

Daughter colonies of the Rockport Hutterite Colony include: New Rockport Hutterite Colony (New Dayton, Alberta, Canada); Rockport Hutterite Colony (Pendroy, Montana, USA); Main Centre Hutterite Colony (Rush Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada); Clear Lake Hutterite Colony (Carmangay, Alberta, Canada); and Newmark Hutterite Colony (Wilkie, Saskatchewan, Canada).

In 2017 the Rockport Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony.
