Schwiser, Michael (16th century)

Michael Schwiser of Saytarn (?) near Speyer, Germany, was imprisoned in the Upper House at Passau with a number of his brethren on 16 September 1535. At his trial on September 16 he confessed that he had been baptized by Hans Schwaigern near Heilbronn, and had been an Anabaptist for 1½ years. Schwiser was among those who remained steadfast.
