The Shalom congregation in Montreal, Quebec, Canada) began services in 1982. It was first known as Iglesia Chretienne Hispana de Montreal. In 1995 there were 11 members. The congregation has been affiliated with the Mennonite Conference of Ontario and Quebec (1982-88), Mennonite Church, Mennonite Conference of Eastern Canada (1988-) and Conference of Mennonites in Canada (1995-). The language of worship is Spanish.
