The Stormer Lake Christian Fellowship congregation near Red Lake, Ontario began services and formally organized in 1973. The first building was occupied in 1973. The congregation originated through outreach by the Northern Light Gospel Mission. The languages of worship were Ojibway and English. The congregation dissolved about 1989.

In 1975 there were 4 members; in 1985, 3. It had been affiliated with the Northern Light Gospel Mission since 1973. 

Minister Ivan Ramer served in 1988 as a congregational leader.
