The Stuartburn Gospel Chapel at Stuartburn, MB began services in 1943, and formally organized in 1953. Joe Wiebe is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through outreach by Steinbach Christian Endeavor.

Pastor Frank Koop served in the 1980s as a congregational leader. The congregation has been affiliated with the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren (1953-87) and the Fellowship of Evangelical Bible Churches (1987-). The language of worship is English.
