Black Oak Bethel Mennonite Church (Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania, USA)
The Black Oak Bethel Mennonite Church, Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania, USA, began in 1948. In fall 1947 members from the Cedar Grove congregation at Greencastle investigated Black Oak as one of five possible locations for mission work. On 13 June 1948 Paul Lantz and Michael Horst held the first service in the church.
The congregation used the former Black Oak Methodist Church building that had been vacant since prior to World War II. The building originated in 1888.
Black Oak organized as a congregation in 1953 and joined the Ohio and Eastern Mennonite Conference of the Mennonite Church (MC). It became part of the Atlantic Coast Conference when the "Eastern" part of the Ohio and Eastern Conference became its own district conference in 1978.
On 22 May 2008, the remaining members of the congregation voted to close and disperse its assets to Mennonite Central Committee, Mennonite Mission Network, Bethel Community Church, and North Side Mennonite Church.

Black Oak Bethel Mennonite Church (MC) is located in southern Fulton County, Pennsylvania, with the address of Route 1, Hancock, Maryland. It was organized in 1953 and is a member of the Ohio and Eastern Conference. In 1959 its membership was 53, with Michael M. Horst as its pastor.
