Vietnamese Grace Mennonite Church (Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada)

In 2019, board members Philip Nguyen and Lam Son Tran of the Vietnamese Grace Church were directed to Mennonite Church British Columbia (MCBC) by Pastor Nhien Pham of Vancouver Vietnamese Mennonite Church. A relationship grew with MCBC. Board members Philip Nguyen and Lam Son Tran represented Grace Vietnamese Mennonite Church as they were welcomed into MCBC at MCBC’s Annual General Meeting on 29 February 2020. The church mets in South Burnaby and their pastor, Pastor Thanh Binh Nguyen preached from Vietnam via live video conference every Sunday with 12-15 attendees.

The church decided to remove their membership with MCBC January 2023 due to differences on the definition of grace and wealth gospel theology. Their withdrawal was acknowledged by MCBC on 25 February 2023.
