Jan Kopijn (Copijn), of [[Amsterdam (Noord-Holland, Netherlands)|Amsterdam]], who died in 1711 at [[Dordrecht (Zuid-Holland, Netherlands)|Dordrecht]], living after 1675 at [[Middelburg (Zeeland, Netherlands)|Middelburg]], Dutch province of [[Zeeland (Netherlands)|Zeeland]], he was a deacon of the Mennonite church and thereupon a preacher at Middelburg 1680-1706. Jan Kopijn (Copijn), of Amsterdam, who died in 1711 at Dordrecht, living after 1675 at Middelburg, Dutch province of Zeeland, he was a deacon of the Mennonite church and thereupon a preacher at Middelburg 1680-1706. In this year he moved to Zuilen near Utrecht. Not much is known about Kopijn. He wrote a number of poems, one of which celebrated his fellow preacher Adriaen van Eeghem.
