Vrieze family

De Vrieze (Vreese, Vreeze, Vries, Vriesse), a for­mer Dutch Mennonite family, in the 17th century living at Aardenburg in Dutch Zeeland Flan­ders, whither they had emigrated from Flanders, Belgium. In the 18th century (some even earlier) they left the Mennonites and joined the Reformed Church.
